Abstract

EN There are various approaches available for designing new products or services and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is one of them. Unfortunately, there is a confusing redundancy of options available for organizations seeking to implement DFSS so this research searched eight journals to identify possible approaches used for DFSS. Four data databases were then searched using the previously determined acronyms to identify the most common approaches to DFSS. This paper provides a comparison of the various approaches and concludes with recommendations for those seeking to implement DFSS.
