Depending on the amount of data to process, file generation may take longer.

If it takes too long to generate, you can limit the data by, for example, reducing the range of years.

Abstract

EN The purpose of the study was to determine the parameters of the hip joint, more specifically its acetabulum for assessing the state of hip degeneration based on CT imaging. The theoretical part includes the information needed to understand the topic regarding, among other things, the structure of the hip joint, its degeneration, CT imaging. The work consists of several stages. The first presents the preparation of input data. The next presents the process of exporting and processing the pelvic model based on CT scans and pelvic bone masks automatically segmented by the deep learning algorithm. The next stage presents the operation of manually determining the acetabular parameters needed for assessing joint degeneration in Rhinoceros 3D 7. This process was automated in the same program by creating macros, which are run using buttons located in a specially designed taskbar. The last stage presents the validation of the developed method, which, unfortunately, was not fully successful due to errors and a small amount of input data; the parameters of 5 pelvises were automatically determined, but failed to assess the degree of joint degeneration in them. Nevertheless, the developed method can be used to automatically, and therefore more quickly, determine the parameters of the hip joint acetabulum.
