EN This article presents a study of the current-voltage characteristics of metal–graphene contacts in Hall sensors based on quasi-free-standing graphene (QFS graphene) grown on 4H-SiC with hydrogen intercalation. Various graphene-based Hall sensor designs are reviewed. The study focuses on the linearity of the I–V characteristics in the contact regions. Sensors with titanium–gold contacts and Al2O3 passivation were fabricated. Results show highly ohmic behavior and strong agreement with a linear model, indicating high contact quality. The findings highlight the potential of QFS-graphene Hall sensors for high-sensitivity, stable applications and form a basis for future studies.
