Abstract

EN The paper presents optimization algorithms for the optimal design of a BLDC motor with an outer-rotor for an electric bike. The universal model of the BLDC motor was elaborated. To optimization, the whale optimization algorithm was employed. The designed motor was described by five design variables. Two optimization problems are solved. The two- module software for optimization of the BLDC motor was elaborated. Selected optimization results was selected and discussed.
