Abstract
EN Recently, AI-based techniques have been used quite frequently in video coding experiments. Software modules often operate on RGB representations, while others, including input and output modules, operate on YCBCR components. In this study, we examine the quality losses resulting from color-space transformations. It is clear that these losses must be considered when developing software for prospective new standards.
