Abstract

EN The aim of the work is to present a new, innovative platform of rail vehicles equipped with a double drive unit, i.e. an electric traction drive powered by electric traction and a drive from internal combustion engines. The summary presents the concept of replacing the internal combustion engine in such vehicles with other, innovative power sources: battery batteries or hydrogen cells.
