5. stycznia 2024 r. ogłoszony został Komunikat Ministra Nauki w sprawie wykazu czasopism naukowych i recenzowanych materiałów z konferencji międzynarodowych. Widoczna w SIN punktacja jest odzwierciedleniem punktacji w PBN (co wymuszone jest procedurami przesyłu danych o publikacjach) – zatem nowe, zmienione Komunikatem, punkty widoczne będą w SIN, gdy tylko zostaną zaktualizowane w PBN. Wdrożenie nowego wykazu do PBN planowane jest na czerwiec.
