EN The article addresses issues related to quality assurance in manufacturing companies based on the guidelines of quality maintenance pillar under the Total Productive Maintenance concept. The first part of the article presents the methodological steps for determining machine quality points. The second part contains a case study on the implementation of methodology in the manufacturing plant in the lighting industry. The article shows a positive influence of the methodology on the reduction of quality defects in the examined plant.
