PL Tożsamość miejsca, zapewnienie ciągłości rozwoju, zachowuje tradycje, wartościuje. Prowadząc wszelkie procesy rehabilitacji miast, powinniśmy doszukiwać się istotnych wartości. Pomimo subiektywności materii zawartej w pojęciu, jakim jest tożsamość miejsca, należy nadać mu konkretne przeznaczenie. Wszelkie procesy projektowe dotyczą żywych struktur miejskich, dotykają problemów materialnych i behawioralnych. Mimo tej różnorodności w rezultacie muszą zaistnieć konkretne wytyczne.
