PL W pracy przedstawiono powstanie i rozwój czytelń Biblioteki Głównej Politechniki Poznańskiej. Opisano zaplecze magazynowe i kolekcje księgozbioru. Zaprezentowano udostępnianie zbiorów oraz strukturę wykorzystania czytelń w ujęciu statystycznym. Przedstawiono wyniki ankiety na temat odbioru usług czytelń przez czytelników. Scharakteryzowano stanowisko pracy bibliotekarza w czytelni, według normy PN-EN ISO 9000 1-4, w aspekcie jego codziennych obowiązków. Podjęto próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie o przyszłość udostępniania i co je warunkuje.
EN The aim of this paper is to present the origin and development of reading rooms of the Main Library of Poznan University of Technology. The library collection has been presented and there have been described lending service as well as some statistics concerning the use of reading rooms. The results of the questionnaire about the library users’ service have been put forward. Finally, responsibilities of the reading rooms staff, according to the ISO 9000 norm, have been shown. An attempt at answering the question about the lending service’s future and its present condition has been undertaken in the paper.
