PL Prawdy w architekturze, jak wszystkie prawdy śmiertelnych, należą do czasu. Moderniści w XX w. wierzyli, że prawdę przekształcania przestrzeni dyktuje nauka. Jedną z takich utopijnych koncepcji było zburzenie Whitehallu w Londynie i zastąpienie „nowoczesną, racjonalną” zabudową. Martin Heidegger twierdzi, że sztuka (poezja) jest bezpośrednią emanacją, prze-jawem bytu. Byt jest prawie niedostępny myśleniu śmiertelnych na Ziemi, bo przesłonięty, zbyt ściśle związany z byciem. Jest to konsekwencja czasu, w którym prawda (greckie aletheia – nie-przesłonięta) jest nie-do-zauważenia przez myślenie. Natomiast sztuka to u-dzielanie prawdy. Dzisiaj prawdy istnieją jeszcze w przekazie tradycji i tam możemy badać ich naturę. Antyczni Grecy prawdę sztuki widzieli jako od-krytość (oczywistość) i kalos kagatos (kalokagatija) – nierozłączne piękno-dobro. Prawda jako piękno może zamienić się miejscami ze złem – w antyprawdę. Jest ona nie do odróżnienia od prawdy.
EN Truths in architecture, as all truths of the mortals, belong to time. In the 20th century the modernists believed that the truth of space transformation was dictated by science. One of such utopian ideas was to demolish Whitehall in London and to replace it with “modern and rational” buildings. Martin Heidegger claims that art (poetry) is a direct emanation or manifestation of existence. However, existence is virtually inaccessible to thinking of mortals on Earth, because it is concealed and associated too closely with being. This is a consequence of time in which truth (in Greek: aletheia – unconcealed) is imperceptible by thinking. On the other hand, art is the impartment of truth. Nowadays, truths still exist in the message of tradition and their nature can be examined there. The ancient Greeks perceived truth of art as kalos kagatos (kalokagatija) – beauty-good. Nevertheless, truth as beauty can swap places with evil and turn into antitruth which is indistinguishable from truth.
