EN This article presents the results of tribological tests carried out for the pair: aluminum-ceramic composite type F3S.10S - stainless steel. Stand-up tribological tests were carried out under dry friction conditions on a pin-on-disc tribometer. 3D roughness tests for Sa and Sz data were performed both before and after the tribological examination on the tribometer. These results describe how machining parameters of type v. It was also shown that vc cutting speed has a non-monotonic effect on the parameters of Sa and Sz roughness of milled samples. With an increase in feed f, both for Sa and Sz parameters, an upward trend was observed. From the tribological point of view, it was noticed that after the tribometer test, the surface roughness increased several times. Also for the weight loss test Δm of the tribological pair tested, the input parameters vc = 700 m/min and f = 0.20 mm/rev cause the smallest weight loss of the composite kinematic composite - stainless steel, which is the optimal combination of milling parameters from the tribological point of view.
