Abstract

EN The paper presents and comments on the main experimental and numerical techniques in the considered paper. Several inaccuracies and problems in methodology are described, for example, description of the failure time and description of the dynamic tensile strength of glass (critical curve). The process of wave propagation reflection and interaction together with geometrical dispersion in bars is shown to present some disadvantages in analysis.
