Abstract

EN Recently, there develop intensively applications of control and robotics systems. Special control systems, i.e. robots, are designed for use in environments unfriendly or harmful to human beings. Possible areas of application of robots are continuously repeated tasks or jobs requiring large physical power. A robot may also be used as an assistant of a human (e.g. a robot assistant for a surgeon) or in so-called telerobotic systems, which “extend” human hands. Most dynamical development takes place in mobile robotics. In some tasks, robots should move in a manner resembling humans or animals — they are called walking robots.
