EN The article discussed the issue of taking the load of bridge abutments soil pressure, which is dependent on how the foundation, technology, construction and soil parameters. The basic rules for calculating the coefficients of the elements of earth pressures on bridge abutments presented. The relationship between displacement earth pressure described. The methods of computer modeling of the structure abutments, foundations and direct the foundation piles discussed. The example calculation of bridge abutment in two options foundation and principles of estimating indirect earth pressures dependent on displacements presented.
