EN The paper presented the technical characteristics of the flyover over the marketplace in Chorzow city, built in seventies late. The construction of superstructure discussed. The condition of and damage the overpass described. The extent of structural reconstruction of the increase in capacity class object showed. The method for static calculations and design solutions adopted for, inter alia, strengthening span steel bands and external tendon and means of strengthening the supports presented. The short course of renovation work presented.
