EN The city space is an area for articulation in the field of art and architecture, implying the creation of places of special importance to residents and creating a multi-level system of place identification. The aim of the article is to draw attention to the role of artistic activities that deepen social sensitivity and identity, also in the marketing and economic aspect, based on the example of the city of Poznań. The whole discussion was set within the observational, heuristic method and a case study, confirming that urban space is a creative space.
