PL Architektura III Rzeszy jest świadomie eklektyczna, co nie wynikało z jej elastyczności, lecz raczej z dążenia do multiplikowania środków perswazji. Na przykładzie Poznania jako stolicy Gau Wartheland można rozpatrywać stosowane formy i ich relacje do zastanej pruskiej tradycji z perspektywy postawionych przed architekturą i innymi sztukami zadaniami zgermanizowania i znazyfikowania terenów włączonych do III Rzeszy. Potwierdzeniem tych ideologicznych podstaw architektury nazistowskiej w Poznaniu jest przede wszystkim przebudowa dawnego zamku cesarskiego oraz plan Hali Ludowej na Cytadeli.
EN The architecture of the Third Reich is consciously eclectic, not due to its flexibility, but rather to a tendency to multiply methods of persuasion. Using the example of Poznan as the capital of the Gau Wartheland, it is possible to consider the forms used and their relationship to the existing Prussian tradition from the perspective of the tasks set for architecture and other arts of Germanising and Nazification of the areas incorporated into the Third Reich. Confirming these ideological foundations of Nazi architecture in Poznan is primarily provided by the reconstruction of the former imperial castle and the plan for the People's Hall at the Citadel.
