PL Każdy kontekst urbanistyczny naznaczony jest czasem i duchem miejsca. Zadaniem współczesnej architektury jest nie tylko spełnienie bieżących i przyszłych potrzeb użytkowników, ale również korespondowanie z przeszłością miejsca do niej przynależnego. Celem artykułu jest zbadanie okoliczności powstania wybranej nowoczesnej architektury biurowej, które wynikają z jej autonomicznego kontekstu społecznego lub charakterystyki tożsamości miejsca. Do analizy wybrano pięć biurowców o niekonwencjonalnym wyglądzie oraz formie lub unikalnym i nieoczywistym programie funkcjonalnym. W procesie badawczym wykorzystano analizę literatury i dokumentów planistycznych, dokumentację fotograficzną, plany budynków oraz opisy dostarczone przez autorów obiektów. Zebrane dane poddano dogłębnej analizie architektonicznej, funkcjonalnej i urbanistycznej. Badania mają za zadanie ukazanie oryginalności wybranej architektury biurowej powstałej w wyniku ingerencji czynników egzogenicznych związanych z ich historią, strukturą urbanistyczno-społeczną i uwarunkowaniami lokalnymi. Wyniki badań mają na celu podkreślenie istoty znajomości szeroko pojętego kontekstu historii miejsca dla nowo powstających obiektów biurowych. Ostatecznym wynikiem badań jest wyznaczenie roli egzogenicznych czynników historycznych w procesie projektowania architektury biurowej.
EN Every urban context is marked by time and the spirit of the place. The task of contemporary architecture is not only to meet the current and future needs of its users, but also to correspond with the past of the space belonging to it. The aim of the article is to examine the circumstances of the creation of selected modern office architecture, which result from its autonomous social context or characteristics of the identity of the place. Five office buildings with an unconventional appearance and form or a unique and non-obvious functional program were selected for analysis. The research process used an analysis of literature and planning documents, photographic documentation, building plans and descriptions provided by the authors of the objects. The collected data was subjected to an in-depth architectural, functional and urban analysis. The aim of the research is to show the originality of selected office architecture created as a result of the interference of exogenous factors related to their history, urban-social structure and local conditions. The results of the study are intended to emphasize the essence of knowledge of the broadly understood context of the history of the place for modern office buildings. The final result of the research is to determine the role of exogenous historical factors in the design process of office architecture.
