Abstract

EN The paper presents a new approach to time-domain effective simulation of ultra-wideband (UWB) electromagnetic (EM) wave propagation when a source is placed on convex obstacle. The frequency domain uniform theory of diffraction (UTD) and rational approximation exploiting the vector fitting algorithm (VF) is used for deriving the closed form time domain functions of the radiated and coupled fields.
