Abstract

EN Algorithmically optimized AVC (MPEG-4 part 10/H.264) video encoder with parallel processing of data is presented in the paper. The paper reveals the architecture of the proposed encoder together with the description of the applied software optimization techniques. Conducted experiments show exactly the degree of parallelization of computations in the encoder and the compression performance of video encoding.
