Abstract

EN The paper presents current analysis of multi-phase, asymmetrical inter-turn short-circuits in a squirrel-cage induction motor. The test object was the motor: Celma Inducta 3SIE100L4B. Measurements of the phase current of the tested object were used in the diagnostic process. Due to the nature of the failure like inter-turn multi-phase short-circuits and their impact on the current waveforms, the frequency analysis of the diagnostic signal was used.
