EN The presented study reveals the main stages of the bioresorbable implant modeling and manufacturing process. The concept of work was applied during the clinical procedure for skull defects. Due to the patient's young age, the procedure was performed using bioresorbable material, and the gradual degradation process enables the growth of natural bone tissue. The example of reconstructive surgery discussed in this work is often a challenge for both surgeons and implant designers. Due to the difficultto-predict and often dynamic process of bone tissue growth, the shape of the used implant must consider the occurrence of significant stresses within the implant. Additionally, the mechanical properties of the implant, such as stiffness and strength, deteriorate due to the continuous process of resorption of the material used. This study presents a new concept of cranial implant modeling, which should largely eliminate potential problems occurring during the further process of natural bone tissue reconstruction.
