EN The main purpose of the presented dissertation was to modified supports with organofunctional silanes and POSS compounds, by immobilisation and solvent evaporation, bifunctionalisation by hydrolysis and condensation, by mechanical method, immobilisation in an organic solvent and in situ. The experiments were made with the silicas obtained by precipitation from water solutions, emulsion medium and by the sol-gel method. The effects of the types and amounts of the modifying substance on the physicochemical properties and performance of the silicas were examined. The best method for the silica surface functionalisation was found the immobilisation in an organic solvent. The products obtained by this method were characterised by relatively high homogeneity. By the method of extraction in the solid-liquid system, it was possible to confirm high stability of silica-modifier(s) bonds and the chemical character of interactions The main part of the study was the testing of hybrid materials obtained as fillers of polymer matrices, e.g. polyurethane, polymethacrylate, polyacrylate and polymer gel electrolytes.
