Depending on the amount of data to process, file generation may take longer.

If it takes too long to generate, you can limit the data by, for example, reducing the range of years.

Abstract

EN The aim of this research is to improve a warehousing process. Its operations are characterized by deterministic and stochastic parameters. In such circumstances, the classical approaches based on deterministic methods leading to better performance of the process would not provide the expected results. Thus, the authors propose the methodology of process improvement. Introduction of a new technical equipment and reassignment of tasks to employees was proposed. The problem has been solved, providing significant improvement of the warehousing process. The proposed methodology of simulation-based process improvement has been proposed and verified. The process map created as the result of process analysis facilitates and accelerates the simulation model construction. The possibility to reflect random values brings the model closer to reality and increases the credibility of results.
