EN This paper describes effectiveness metrics for the SelfAid Network — quantified values providing information about the quality of functioning of the system. Proposed metrics capture, among others, the cost of running the application, user satisfaction, and resistance to failures. The metrics were specifically chosen for the SelfAid network, a platform for game matchmaking systems. Matchmaking, in online multiplayer games, refers to the process of finding players for online play sessions. It can function based on ranking (such as ELO in chess), matching players choosing the same difficulty level (for cooperation-based games), etc. The paper presents the results of applying the proposed metrics to a simulation of the SelfAid network.
