Depending on the amount of data to process, file generation may take longer.

If it takes too long to generate, you can limit the data by, for example, reducing the range of years.

Abstract

EN This paper presents the performance evaluation of the checkpointing and rollback-recovery protocols for distributed mobile systems, guarantying client-centric consistency models, despite failures of servers. The performance of considered protocols is evaluated by estimating the checkpointing overhead. Additionally, the paper disscusses the influence of the consistency models provided by the system on the moments of taking checkpoints. The impact of the obtained results on strategies for checkpointing in the mobile environment guarantying client-centric consistency models is assessed.
