Abstract

EN Holiday time is one of the most important and pleasurable occasions when daily routines can be changed for healthier and beneficial for well-being: physical as well as psychological. The opportunity to both enjoy and use this time well is important for all, and also crucial for persons with disabilities and the elderly. In this article the author collects and presents specialized solutions in universal design for coastal resort architecture and planning, provides an assessment of a case study, and presents her own project for a the Międzyzdroje Promenada Zachodnia competition in Poland.
