Abstract
EN The problem of calculation of the characteristic equations of the standard and descriptor linear electrical circuits is addressed. It is shown that the characteristic equation of the linear electrical circuit is independent of the method used for its analysis. The well-known three methods: the state space method, the mesh method and the node method are analyzed.
