Abstract

EN The analysis of the literature indicates a relationship between the increase in the dynamics of the environment (from stable, through variable to turbulent and turbulent environments) and the desired increase in the enterprise’s flexibility. Flexibility is to enable the use of a greater variety of perceived market opportunities. Information and communication technologies (ICT) are understood as a family of technologies that process, collect and transmit information in electronic form. The research problem addressed in this paper is to identify the impact of environmental turbulence levels (low, high) on the characteristics and types of ICT software used.
