Abstract

EN The paper presents the methods of composting with the division into open and clo- sed composting systems. The stages of composting in an open composting system (industrial pile) are described. In the experiment part, the conditions of this pile were simulated, and halloysite-polylactide biocomposites were placed there to assess the degree of composting of these materials. The effect of sugar in the form of beet molasses on the change of pH of compost and biopolymer was investigated. he effect of sugar in the form of beet molasses on the change of pH of compost and biopolymer was investigated. And it was found that the addition of sugar with increased content of nitrogen compounds and alkaline pH stimulates the activity of bacteria, which cause faster decomposition of proteins (temperature increase in the enrichment phase due to exothermic reactions accelerates the composting process).
