Abstract

EN Compared to materials with negative thermal expansion (NTE), the properties of materials with negative Poisson's ratio (NPR) (auxetics) are not often investigated. In this research, thermal properties of periodic cellular auxetic materials are simulated using the finite element method. The influence of Poisson's ratio of auxetic structure on their thermal properties is observed.
