PL Zgodnie z założeniami Europejskiego Zielonego Ładu, w nadchodzących latach zrównoważone produkty mają stać się normą w Unii Europejskiej. Oznacza to, ze praktyki ekoprojektowania, zrównoważonej produkcji, czy oceny ekologiczności produktów, które były dotychczas zarezerwowane dla wąskiej grupy przedsiębiorstw (liderów), będą musiały przejść do przedsiębiorstw głównego nurtu. Stosowanie perspektywy cyklu życia jest dziś kluczowe z punktu widzenia rozumienia i oceny zrównoważoności produktów. W artykule podjęto stosunkowo nowy temat śladów środowiskowych produktów. W pierwszej części przedstawiono pewne ogólne informacje dotyczące tego zagadnienia, następnie wskazano aktualne inicjatywy ustawodawcze Komisji Europejskiej zawierające odniesienia do śladów środowiskowych, a na końcu zaprezentowano przykład projektu powiązanego z tym zagadnieniem.

EN According to the intention of the European Green Deal strategies, sustainable products are expected to become the norm in the European Union in the coming years. This means that the practices of eco-design, sustainable production or environmental assessment of products, which have so far been used by a limited group of companies (leaders), will have to be transferred to mainstream companies. Applying a life-cycle perspective is crucial for understanding and assessing product sustainability. The paper tackles the relatively new topics of environmental footprints of products. The first section provides some background information on this topic, next the current legislative initiatives of the European Commission with reference to environmental footprints are indicated, and finally an example of a project related to this topic is presented.
