Depending on the amount of data to process, file generation may take longer.

If it takes too long to generate, you can limit the data by, for example, reducing the range of years.

Abstract

EN In order to gain a market advantage these days, companies must adapt to a market situation in which it is the customer who makes demands on manufacturers. With this in mind, product customization, i.e. offering products according to individual specifications or customer preferences, is becoming increasingly important. This means that more and more frequently manufacturers not only offer products of different types, but also a particular product in different variants, and even allow the customer to interfere in the appearance or design of the product. This variety of offerings means that companies are struggling to collect and manage data sets related to specific products and customers that are not fully standardized. This raises issues such as increased production time or the time to find specific information for their own use or in response to customer requests. An example of a customized product is limb orthoses. They are customized for a specific customer based on the patient’s specified anthropometric dimensions. The article attempts to streamline the process of managing patient data collected during the orthosis design and manufacturing process using 3D printing technology. The process is supported by the AutoMedPrint system, which is a proprietary solution of researchers from Poznan University of Technology for standardizing the process of saving patient data in a nested folder structure. The purpose of this article is to support the data management process by developing two IT solutions to support the process and comparing them.
