Abstract

EN This chapter reveals the technical and simulation aspects of the application of digital games in the process of social participation in urban planning with reference to the 11th Sustainable Development Goal from the 2030 Agenda issued by the United Nations. Using selected examples, it was shown how the use of digital games in participatory processes can be an effective tool for visualizing processes or mass aggregation of spatial data. The benefits presented were cross-referenced to the points falling under the provisions correlated with the 11th UN Sustainable Development Goal in order to demonstrate the convergence of the described participatory methods with the strategies of the Agenda 2030.
