Abstract

EN The major part of this paper is to present the elements of a systematic drawing conclusions process about pavement bearing capacity parameters based on the method of measurement and analysis of its surface deflections. Driven by the need of influence on each of the components of that process, the paper describes a complex system composed with the own FWD-device type, and components of an integrated computer system. In order to design the most favorable maintenance strategy it is required to take into account as many treatments technologies as possible in various time intervals. Anyway this generates thousands of billions possibilities to be analyzed, which is not easily manageable particularly when mechanistic approach is considered. Therefore a simple ME-LCCA method is used to make a choice between a few of the most often used rehabilitation treatments. As a prediction of stiffness degradation, a credible numerical models of examined pavement are employed together with fatigue life damage formula based on well-known criteria.
