EN The article presents the determinants of strategy of automation and autonomization means of transportation in Poland. The research analyzed the strategies that transportation companies can use to leverage autonomous vehicles and more effectively achieve company goals. The paper presents the opportunities and risks associated with the prospect of developing autonomous transportation in Poland, based on research in the form of in-depth interviews with experts involved in the management of transportation companies performing their services in Poland. The study sought answers to the questions of when it will be possible to implement autonomous vehicles, for whom they will be a threat, and what benefits they can bring to transport companies. The result of the research is the determination of the conditions for the implementation of autonomous vehicles, their impact on the current development strategies of enterprises.
