Abstract

EN Carbon nanotubes, since they were identified in 1991 by Prof. S. Iijmia, have been an object of interest for almost all fields of science and industry. Their properties are tested continually, both in the micro and the macro scales. It is predicted nowadays that all three types of nanotube structures have the greatest chances to be applied in electronic and medical industries. Authors of this paper conduct a thorough literature studies related to determining the possibilities of employing carbon nanotubes in energetic processes. Conducted analyses result in determinig further directions of research for academic workers of the Chair of Thermal Engineering in Poznan University of Technology. An example of such research is measuring mechanical properties of surfaces coated with carbon nanotube structures.

PL Autorzy przeprowadzili szczegółowe badania literaturowe związane z określeniem możliwości wykorzystania nanorurek węglowych w procesach energetycznych. W wyniku tych analiz określono dalsze kierunki badań prowadzonych przez pracowników Katedry Techniki Cieplnej Politechniki Poznańskiej. Ich przykładem są badania związane z pomiarem właściwości mechanicznych powierzchni pokrytych nanorurkami węglowymi.
