Abstract

EN The paper presents development and test procedure of a Virtual Reality application for training of practical skills. The presented case pertains to operation of forklifts. Need for the application is explained, as well as basic ideas, concepts of knowledge forms and organization of the virtual course. The test procedure is presented, along with obtained results. It has been found that the virtual forklift course is more time efficient than the traditional one and it is enthusiastically perceived by users from the target group.
