Abstract

EN In this work a considerable development of the time-fractional damage model for hyperelastic body is presented. The novel model is implemented for full spatial configuration (AceFEM software). A patient-specific 3D computational model is elaborated to mimic the abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) phenomena. The considerations include the initial spatially inhomogeneous degradation of mechanical properties of aorta as well as complex blood pressure loading. It is shown that the model enables to improve modelling of aorta damage evolution and presents reliable estimation of critical (from the mechanical point of view) zones for AAA. Moreover, in this study the influence of the selected time-fractional damage parameters on the intensity of damage evolution zones is shown.
