Abstract

EN The paper presents the research on the influence of the connection configuration and the location of the PV cells shading on the output parameters of photovoltaic roof tiles. The problem of shading occurs in all photovoltaic installations, but in the case of solar tiles it can cause much greater power losses than in the case of traditional panels. The series, parallel and series-parallel configurations of photovoltaic roof tiles with different shading locations were tested. The values of roof tiles output parameters, current-voltage and power characteristics of the analyzed systems were presented.
