EN The rapid evolution of electric mobility has ushered in a transformative era in the automotive industry, promising cleaner and more sustainable transpor-tation solutions. However, as electric vehicles (EVs) gain prominence, the environmental impact of their production, usage, and end-of-life manage-ment becomes a pressing concern. This paper explores the concept of remanufacturing in the context of electric mobility, addressing various types of remanufacturing processes and their potential in establishing circular busi-ness models. The study outlines the diverse landscape of remanufacturing processes, with a focus on their adaptability to electric mobility components. It explores challenges associated with the intricate design and evolving technologies in electric cars, shedding light on potential impediments to tradition-al remanufacturing practices. By discussing and analyzing current remanu-facturing models, the paper aims to provide insights into their potential bene-fits for manufacturers operating in the electric mobility sector. The broader goal is to encourage the adoption of circular business models, promoting re-source conservation, cost-effectiveness, and a diminished environmental footprint.
