EN The article discusses the results of work to assess the readiness of Polish industrial companies to apply augmented reality technology in practice. As part of the work, a tool in the form of a survey was prepared, available online as a digital survey, and a mobile application. The survey contains several dozen questions divided into sections, and not only the technical readiness of a given company is assessed, but also the potential area of application of the Augmented Reality technique in its activities such as training, support for production and production-related processes and support for machine operation and maintenance. In addition to the development and implementation of the tool, it was also verified at the enterprises from the Wielkopolska region and neighboring regions. Survey results can be used by those enterprises to help them get ready to introduce Augmented Reality in their work. Gathered data alongside its analysis are presented in this paper.
